Who is responsible for the site
DelayDesk is a trading name of Huang Yiyong, based at No. 376, China Harbour View Road, Kowloon City District, Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China.
What we do
We explain route coverage, delay and cancellation thresholds, care and refund distinctions, direct airline forms and escalation routes. The checker runs in the browser and does not require a passenger name, booking reference or document upload.
What we do not do
DelayDesk is not a law firm, airline, the Civil Aviation Authority, GOV.UK, an ADR body or a claims-management company, and is not affiliated with any of them. The checker is an estimate, not a legal decision or legal advice. It does not verify live or historical flight operations or the true cause of a disruption.
How content is prepared
Passenger-rights explanations are checked against legislation, GOV.UK and CAA guidance; airline submission links are checked against official airline pages. Rules were last checked on 10 August 2026, and airline links on 10 August 2026. We do not describe that process as legal review unless a named qualified reviewer has actually completed one.

Funding and editorial independence
There are no active affiliate links in the current build, so DelayDesk does not currently earn a commission from published links. The free direct-airline route is the default.
Any future provider would be a commercial partner selected under DelayDesk's documented internal checks; that wording does not mean the provider is approved by the CAA, GOV.UK or the FCA for flight-delay claims.
Corrections and accountability
