Initial public release
The first public DelayDesk release provides a privacy-first, browser-only UK261 eligibility guide for delayed and cancelled flights.
Categories: Product · Rules · Airline links · Privacy · Terms
- Added a one-question-at-a-time UK261 checker without accounts, booking uploads or a live flight-data API.
- Added a checked-in public-domain airport snapshot, explicit airport selection and browser-only great-circle distance calculation without a live flight-data API.
- Added a conservative review range around the 1,500 km and 3,500 km payment-band boundaries instead of forcing a single amount.
- Added collapsed, source-linked explanations for every rule and result, including explicit review handling for cancellation reduction ranges.
- A passenger-selected technical, crew, weather or operational category now remains evidence to verify rather than proof of the legal cause test.
- Cancellation results keep refund, rerouting and care rights visible separately from fixed compensation.
- The checker does not request a passenger name, booking reference, identity document or payment detail.
- Added delay, cancellation, airline, evidence, ADR, claim-letter and related passenger-rights guides.
- Added operator-configured privacy, cookie, terms, contact, accessibility and commercial-disclosure pages.
- Added automated rule, route, build and browser-journey verification plus an indexing launch gate.
- Added page-specific title, description and main-heading copy for the highest-intent checker, rights and airline pages, with duplicate metadata blocked at build time.
- Added a unified DelayDesk brand mark, horizontal logos, multi-size favicons, Apple and manifest icons, a 1200×630 sharing card and automated social-metadata validation.
- Affiliate claim services remain inactive unless separately labelled, approved and fully disclosed.
